Breastfeeding Friendly (BFF) Campaign

Breastfeeding is a public health concern affecting women of color the most. Our efforts are to encourage breastfeeding anywhere and everywhere for at least the first six months of life.

Research continues to show breast milk is the intended first food for all babies.  There are benefits for mom, child, and our community when all newborns and their mothers are supported to breastfeed.

Support Anywhere

Large outdoor events can be a challenge for breastfeeding babies, but behold, our BFF Express can help!  Learn more here.

What does the BFF Express look like?  Watch it in action!

Excited?  Read our Reservation Guidelines to see if you can have it at your next outdoor event.

Support Everywhere

In a waiting room, at a restaurant, while at church; in California mothers have the right to breastfeed anywhere they are allowed to be.  Partner with us to show your BFF support!

Hospitals Supporting Breastfeeding

Through a partnership with Community Regional Medical Center, Saint Agnes Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center and Adventist Medical Center – Reedley, we promote breast milk as baby’s first, most important food by providing a Welcome Baby Bag to every newborn’s family.
