Time spent with your toddler strengthens your relationship. Engaging in activities with one another can support your child's growth and development tremendously.
- The more you talk with your child the better their language will develop
- Reading together is one of the best bonding experiences for both of you
- Shop for food with your child and let them help you prepare a simple meal
Having fun, while learning, creates opportunities to grow closer to your child.
- Our brains learn best when it's fun! Recognize your child is learning every moment, especially when you think it is PLAY!

Playing together builds a life-long relationship. Playing together is healthy for everyone's body and mind!
Attachment has its time frame. One moment your child will need you very much and the next they'll show their will and independence--in unexpected ways. Going back and forth between clinging and pushing away is normal and confusing to both parents and toddlers. Learn to accept your child's need for both independence and reassurance and it will help your child later with self-esteem, school, and meeting new friends.
