Gently massage your baby from head to toe. (Rub your eyes (lids closed) to find the pressure that should be used.)
Place your baby facedown (surrounded by toys or mirrors) for periodic “tummy time”. This will encourage your baby to pick his or her head up thereby stretching and strengthening the neck, arms, and abdominal muscles.
Encourage your child to lay on his or her back and reach for their toes. This increases strength and flexibility..
Once your baby shows an interest in moving, place toys just out of their reach and encourage them to crawl to them.
