Replace quiet activities such as watching TV with more energetic activities such as biking, running, and playing ball.
Use balls to play kicking, throwing, and chasing games. Ball-centric activities will help develop motor skills as well as give your toddler some much-needed exercise.
Have your child mimic your movements (such as rolling across the floor, stomping your feet, and jumping up and down).
